Eeyore is an extremely happy, sweet girl. Her eyes radiate the look that says "I adore you." She is still very spry and curious, exploring her surroundings with a wagging tail. She is very affectionate and will throw her paws up and melt into a big cuddly, cooing hug, enjoying copious body rubs. She will stand up in hopes for more hugs and kisses.
She is great in meeting new dogs and is good in the home. She is a terrific dog needing a family to love. She is great with children, and if they are the same height as her, then are sure to receive kisses. She is relaxed in the car and good on walks. She knows some commands but is not entertained by toys. She loves attention and will be happiest in a home that can give her the time she deserves.
Eeyore was found to have a slight heart murmur which does not seem to be an issue right now. She did have several seizures in December and is now taking seizure medication three times a day. The seizures are now under control, but she may need to be on medication for life.
Eeyore came to us from the Hollister shelter where she was surrendered because her guardians were moving and could not find pet-friendly housing.
